Removing Obsolete Procedures From the Consumer Assistance To Recycle and Save Act of 2009

Official abstract: On May 30, 2025, NHTSA published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) proposing to remove obsolete regulations related to the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act of 2009. The agency received no comment on the proposed changes to the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act of 2009, and therefore the agency is adopting the changes in this final rule.
