Official abstract: This action proposes to amend the Class D and Class E airspace at Chicago/Rockford, IL. The FAA is proposing this action due to a biennial airspace review conducted pursuant to FAA Order JO 7400.2R, Procedures for Handling Airspace Matters. This action would bring the airspace into compliance with FAA orders and support instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and operations.
