Amendment of Jet Routes J-190 and J-584 and Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range Federal Airways V-170 and V-188 in the Vicinity of Slate Run, Pennsylvania

Official abstract: This action proposes to amend Jet Routes J-190 and J-584 and Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal Airways V-170 and V-188 in the vicinity of Slate Run, Pennsylvania. The FAA is proposing this action due to the planned decommissioning of the VOR portion of the Slate Run VOR/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) navigational aid (NAVAID). The VOR portion of this NAVAID is being decommissioned as part of the FAA's VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) program. The Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) portion of this NAVAID will be retained.
