Official abstract: In accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator's March 18, 2022, Memorandum entitled Consent Decrees and Settlement Agreements to Resolve Environmental Claims Against the Agency, notice is hereby given of a proposed settlement agreement that resolves In re Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc., 25-1251 (D.C. Cir.), a case in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia that alleges EPA unreasonably delayed in responding to a petition to revoke all tolerances for residues of neonicotinoid pesticides ("neonics") in or on food.
