Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

Official abstract: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of engine health monitoring (EHM) messages requiring premature removal of hydro-mechanical units (HMUs). This proposed AD would require replacing certain HMUs before reaching a reduced life limit and would limit the installation of affected parts under certain conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
