Airworthiness Directives; Elixir Aircraft

Official abstract: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Elixir Aircraft Model Elixir airplanes. This AD was prompted by a fatal accident on a Model Elixir airplane during a production flight. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. This AD prohibits operation until approved inspection or modification procedures are identified, accomplished, and incorporated. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
