Additions to the Clean Air Act Section 111, 112, and 129 Applicability Determination Dashboard and to the List of Broadly Applicable Alternative Test Methods
Official abstract: This document announces the availability of applicability determinations, regulatory interpretations, alternative monitoring, and other determinations made by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from June 2025 to July 2026. The EPA made these applicability determinations, regulatory interpretations, alternative monitoring, and other determinations in response to inquiries concerning compliance with the Clean Air Act (CAA) stationary source program, specifically the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS); the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP); and the Emission Guidelines and Federal Plan Requirements for existing sources. The EPA posted the decisions on the CAA Section 111, 112, and 129 Applicability Determination Dashboard (ADD). This document also announces six broadly applicable alternative test method approval decisions that the EPA made in 2022, 2024, and 2025. These broadly applicable alternative test methods were approved in support of the NSPS and the NESHAP.
