NCES Request for Information, Correction

Official abstract: On October 29, 2026, the U.S. Department of Education published a notice in the Federal Register announcing a Request for Information (RFI) for NCES with FR DOC# 2026- 22047 (91 FR 68118, pages 68118-68120). The Notice asked the public to submit comments electronically using regulations.gov, but the Docket No. was not properly included within the Notice. The Docket No. for this RFI is ED- 2026-IES-3235. ED is issuing this correction notice to ensure that NCES can properly receive the requested information from the field and more effectively carry out requirements laid out in 20 U.S.C. 9543.
